Here’s a story for all y’all.
I am sitting at my computer, and my mom is sitting at her computer across the room. All of a sudden I hear loud laughter. This, of course, means either my mom or myself is laughing. I quickly ruled myself out, so I turned and saw my mother laughing quite heartily. I asked, “What’s so funny?” She replied that she was trying to type “fermata” and somehow ended up with “fermatato.” That provided me with an excuse to laugh, so I took it. I love my mom!
Now that I have explained the title of this post. Oh boy, I am in need of a BREAK! I just need a day to relax, do nothing, or hang out with friends. Nothing to worry about, please. In a couple weeks, I will have TWO four-day weeks in a row! Woo!
In memoriam. One of my very best friends left on his mission this week. Sad to see him go, but excited for him to go on the mish! It’ll be good for him, I’m sure.
Anyway. This week has been crazy hectic, partially annoying, and quite good overall. Renaissance Faire has been going on this week….and I pretty much just want to punch it. I play the violin for five minutes, and then later for about 10 minutes. That doesn’t sound too bad, does it? Well I forgot to mention that in between those two sessions of playing, a condensed version of Henry IV + Henry V gets performed. Which totals about two and a half hours of waiting for Andrew and me. It hasn’t been too horrible, though. Thankfully. Tonight we are going to watch a movie during the Henrys! Quite excited I am.
Best word ever: GROK. I just absolutely love this word! Say it out loud. Right now. It’s so fun, isn’t it!? Grok is a synonym for “savvy,” meaning something along the lines of “mutual understanding.” I love the word grok.
In conclusion of this completely random post, I would like to say just a couple more things. And here they are:
- Dishwashers smell weird.
- I eat pizza with a fork.
- I almost got to look at a picture of my brain this week. Unfortunately the viewer didn’t work.
- Coke slurpees rule….just kidding. I wouldn’t know. I’ve never had one.
- Don’t procrastinate.
- I’m on a facebook strike again.
- I think I’ll go on a texting strike (except if it’s absolutely necessary) soon.
- Donate blood at Hillcrest on March 9.
- Trans fat kills.
- Belts should be required.
- Me encanta el español.
So, that’s that. What’s done is done. What’s said is said. And you can’t do anything about it. Grok?
DS. Me gusta mucho esta canción.
